Is Chivalry Dead?

Opening the car door for you, pulling out your chair, holding the door open for you, and putting his jacket on your shoulder when it's chilly. When's the last time a guy did this for you without you asking? Now for some of you, it's been awhile since you've dated someone, so your last experience doesn't really count as it's gonna make it seem like chivalry is indeed dead.

I'm here to say today... that chivalry is not dead! It's merely in hiding. It's so unool to be a gentleman today, it's all about what you have, material possessions, and how much money you make that guys and ladies don't sit back and appreciate the little things that attract them to guys. Forget the blinding pinky ring, all that's gonna do is blcok your vision and make you run into the door of the restaurant that he didn't hold open for you.

We need to reeducate the guys to let them know that the way to a girl's heart isn't through your wallet. I mean it would help a situation if the door you held open for her was to a nice restaurant and not Mickey D's. I know today it's all about being tough and masculine. The media has made it real cool for dudes to say "bitch get in my car" and by the way... you're gonna have to open the door yourself.

I think Farnsworth Bentley and Jamie Foxx have it going with this gentleman's movement though. It looks like that being a gentleman is coming back into "style" I should say. So we'll see if chivalry makes a reappearance.
