Rising Gas Costs, A Plot By Environmentalists?

Is it possible that the rising gas prices are a product of environmentalists trying to save the planet? If you think about it, it makes sense. Less people are driving frivolously, people are carpooling more often, more people are riding bicycles or walking to their destinations, and car thefts are down. More people are buying hybrid cars that don't take as much gas.

At four dollras a gallon are you going to joyride around the city with your friends? Not unless they have gas money!

If you're going to a party, I guarantee yall are going to fuss for ten minutes before deciding who's going to drive because there's no need to drive 4 cars for 6 people.

If the supermarket is two minutes away driving, why not walk or ride a bike to the store if you only need to buy a roll of paper towels or something.

Who's going to steal a car with less than half a tank of gas in it? if you're going to put gas in the car, you might as well buy your own car. I'm sure the owner of the car will thank you if the police return their car back to them with a full tank of gas, they might not even press charges.

All these factors are contributing to the environment so i believe it's a conspiracy to save the planet by Al Gore and his posse. Don't get me wrong, I've actually cut back on driving and have opted to stay indoors and read a book or watch the news or even exercise. Could the rising gas prices be a blessing in disquise? I've actually begun walking places that are close to my house. I walk to the barber shop and sometimes to the store.

It makes sense if you think about it... bravo Al Gore, way to go.

I don't believe Al Gore invented the internet, but he sure did make-up global warming, didn't he?
