It was said to me once that geniuses (not just intelluctual geniuses, but those that can accurately use their resources to succeed) always had great scandals. I know I'm not Eistein or Newton, but I consider myself Genius-Like because I guess I believe myself to be truly unique. I wonder if I ever become famous or world renowned what my scandal will be.
Hollywood, it seems, has a personal vendetta to make every flaw or imperfection seem pervasive and to some degree they're accurate because they're like peeping toms who get off on getting every single angle of an entertainer's life, but who really knows what's true?
I have a theory that it all depends on how you turn out. That's how Hollywood looks at your flaws, if you're a good, decent, upstanding person that always helps others, then Hollywood would probably portray your imperfection as not entirely your fault, like you're a victim. However, if you're a serial killer or something like that, your scandal will be your downfall. Take two entertainers for example, Ray Charles and Whitney Houston. In the movie "Ray", Charles' drug addiction was seen as a way for him to suppress the pains he felt in life and make him more creative. For Whitney, drugs were seen as the catalyst that caused her downfall.
Like I said...it all depends on how you turn out, what will your scandal be? Only time will tell.
